A meteorite has crash landed in the Silicon Valley, interfering with digital infrastructures and blurring the fabric of reality, and changing how we consume and replicate cultural artifacts in the digital age.

crash.jpeg is a low-resolution design collection that challenges the ideal of high-resolution perfection, embracing the ambiguity of the poor image and questioning our obsession with clarity and progress. As though pulled out of a physical loading time, these blurry objects are deliberately difficult to photograph, rendering them anachronistic in the eyes of social media algorithms.

traditional-rug-1.jpeg is a series of limited edition textiles that can be used as either a rug or a wall hanging. Designed in high definition the patterns have their resolutions deliberately reduced before being digitally woven using a computer-controlled jacquard loom. Meticulously crafted to explore the physicality of blurriness as a romantic, ecological, and political force, each carpet is traceable and made in the Netherlands from premium wool, produced in collaboration with renowned Dutch craft producers EE Exclusives.

The work of Jonas Hejduk blends traditional craftsmanship, video game culture, and the concept of visual degrowth, infusing humor, fantasy, and fictional elements into interior design, challenging established hierarchies of intellectual culture over its popular counterpart.

Each carpet comes with a blockchain protected certificate of authenticity, an NFT digital twin, a hanging system, and an anti-slip surface for floor placement.
