Pauline Rip and myself have been invited by Canon Nederland and the cardboard company Kohlschein to use their products (UV printer + building materials) in an exhibition that took place at the Canon Custumer Experience Center in Venlo (NL).

The famous photo of Bigfoot is blurry, yet for some it is irrefutable proof of the existence of such a being. The creature is said to have been captured in 1967 by Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin using a 16mm Cine-Kodak K-100 camera – is it not precisely its low quality that gives it its mystery and, by extension, its authenticity?

Low-Foot not only questions the history and evolution of photographic technology, but also invites the viewer to reconsider the known: how can the belief in Bigfoot influence the shape of the known to the point of contaminating its reality ?
